Front and centre is the Xmas Adventure, our tour for the festive season. You can book any of these tours as a team building event.
In teams, you puzzle your way through Witzenhausen, collect points, and afterwards celebrate the team with the most points over dinner. The programme comes from myCityHunt, you choose the venue and menu yourselves.
A Christmas party in Witzenhausen works best when the two halves fit together: something that gets your colleagues moving and talking, and a table afterwards where that conversation can carry on. We take care of the first half. The programme is a puzzle tour, played through our app, that sends your teams out across Witzenhausen in search of riddles, codes and photo challenges. You take care of the second half — the restaurant, the menu, the room you may already have booked. Because the tour runs through the centre of Witzenhausen, past the Wilhelmitenkloster and the tropical greenhouse, the walk to dinner afterwards is never far.
In Witzenhausen you can choose between formats such as Xmas Adventure, Escape Game, Murder Mystery Tour and Treasure Hunt — each one a different route and a different puzzle tour, but all built the same way: around three hours, roughly four kilometres on foot, teams competing against each other with a shared team chat, a live leaderboard and a photo gallery that fills up as the afternoon goes on. The route for each tour is fixed in the app, so nobody gets lost, but how fast a team moves through Witzenhausen is entirely up to them. All anyone needs is a charged phone.
Prices start from £ 15.99 per person plus VAT. You choose the date and time when booking, and you can book up to two days before the event itself. Invoices, credit card and PayPal are all accepted, and you always receive a proper VAT invoice — so the only thing left to organise is where you sit down to eat once the leaderboard has its winner.
Our customers come from a wide variety of sectors. Whether industry, retail, government or services: myCityHunt scavenger hunts are an excellent teambuilding event for your company outing, department party or team event - and that at 6,467 locations around the world.
How about a puzzle tour through Witzenhausen with the myCityHunt app as the program before dinner? Your team heads out in small groups, solves challenges at landmarks across the city, and competes team against team for the top spot on the live leaderboard. Several themes are available, and the tour ends in time for the meal.
The tour comes before the meal: about three hours outdoors in Witzenhausen, and everyone is back in time for dinner. You book the restaurant, and the program before it comes from myCityHunt. For the organizer, that leaves little more to do than picking the date and putting the teams together.
A Christmas party that starts out in the city instead of at the table: your company splits into teams and heads through Witzenhausen before the meal, collecting points against the other teams. If a team gets stuck, a myCityHunt guide is just a chat message away. The date is yours to pick, even at short notice in December, and venue and menu stay entirely your decision.
The tour through Witzenhausen is priced from £ 15.99 per person, and you receive an invoice for the booking. Food and drinks afterward are planned by you, so the budget for the evening stays in your hands.
Yes, in a single booking, split into teams that all start together. The price per person stays the same regardless of group size. Mixing departments when forming the teams works well and gets colleagues talking who otherwise rarely cross paths.
You choose the date and the time. The booking is valid for any day you like, in December just like the rest of the year, and the tour starts once the whole team has arrived. Short-notice bookings work too.
Around three hours. That makes it the first half of the evening: the tour first, then dinner with plenty to talk about.
The tour takes place outdoors in Witzenhausen, and you can pause it at any point. If the rain gets heavy or the snow piles up, warm up somewhere dry and pick up right where you left off. Warm jackets and sturdy shoes are part of a Christmas party in December.
