The church's interior underwent a complete transformation in 1927 under the guidance of Axel Forssén, who replaced Möller's interior with a late Baroque style and installed a new vaulted ceiling. Another significant renovation occurred in 1972, led by Yngve Tegnér, who, in collaboration with the Swedish National Heritage Board, decided to preserve Möller's façade while redesigning the interior with a modernist approach. Artist Olle Nyman was commissioned to decorate the new aluminum acoustic ceiling, and a new large organ was installed, necessitating changes to the church's layout. In 1951, a new organ with 44 stops was built by Th. Frobenius og Sønner Orgelbyggeri A/S, which was later sold in 1971. The current organ, installed in 1974 by A.
